UBC Library at Robson Square Location
The UBC campus at Robson Square is located in downtown Vancouver at 800 Robson Street, between Hornby and Howe Street. The Vancouver Art Gallery is to the north, the Courthouse to the south, and Sears department store is to the east.
The primary campus entrance is on the Plaza level, accessible by stairways on either side of Robson Street. The Library and Bookstore share a location on the plaza beside the skating rink.
Accessibility
Elevator access is available at the Hornby Street entrance (just north of the corner of Robson Street) and connects both floors of campus to street and parking levels. There is also a ramp on the Courthouse side of Robson Square to the south that criss-crosses the outdoor stairwell for access to the lower level of the Outdoor Plaza and main entry doors to the campus.
By Car
In Vancouver's downtown core, turn south on Howe Street - a one-way street. Enter Robson Square's underground parkade on Howe at the corner of Nelson Street. Hourly parking charges apply ($3.00/hr or $13.00/day weekdays, $3.50 evening flat rate and $3.50 all day weekends). There is also limited metered street parking on Howe, Hornby, and Georgia Streets.By Public Transit
UBC Robson Square is two blocks from the new Canada Line City Centre station. It is also within walking distance from the Burrard and Granville SkyTrain stations. Buses stop near the campus on Burrard, Georgia, Robson and Howe Streets. The SeaBus from the North Shore is within walking distance, or catch the SkyTrain to Burrard Station.
