In-Text Citations
Here are some examples of different types of in-text citations

Direct Quote
(Anderson, 2006, pp. 43)
A direct quote is when you describe an idea from an article in the exact words that the article uses.

Direct Quote of an article without page numbers
(Hallaren, MacDonald & Proctor, 2006, ¶2)
¶ is a symbol for "paragraph", so ¶2 means the quote comes from the second paragraph in the article.

Paraphase
(Anderson, 2006)
A paraphrase is when you explain an idea from an article in your own words.

In-text citations with 3-6 authors
(Hallaren, et al., 2006, ¶3)
After the first in-text citation, following citations should include only the first author followed by "et al".

No Author
("World Business", 2006)
Use the first words of the title when there is no author for your source.
